Finally getting nice out

So it's been awhile. I'm getting back to the routine of being home. Ride, work, barn, gym. Repeat. Life in Allentown is definitely not as exciting as it is in Florida, but I am happy to be home, for the meantime. Still working on finding a job so I can make my way back to the sunshine state, but in the interim, work is ok. I am back to laying out the papers and the busy schedule that is the newspaper.
Charlie!
George Bailey! The best boy ever
I have also started a half lease on a chestnut gelding named Charlie. He is so good and easy. A very different ride than Golfo, the horse I was leasing before I left, but still very fun. I will be back in the show ring before you know it. And George is good. Getting back to normal, and going out in the field with his buddies. Happy to see me every night and getting spoiled.

Joy came home for the weekend, so all the girls were reunited at last, after months of not seeing each other. Nestor was also in town on his way to Canada, so it was a big group weekend. Since it was so nice out, we went to Glen Onoko Falls. It is literally a cliff that you hike up, stopping at waterfalls every so often. So cool though and well worth the hike. Coming down was a little rough though.

Then we went to the Bookstore in Bethlehem, my big night out. That place is so different though. It's a little hole-in-the-wall speakeasy with oldfashioned drinks and food. Jazz music in the background. It's nice to go somewhere different that is classy.

Now it's back to the work week but that means only three weeks and I am back in sunny Florida! If only for a short visit.
