25 and Loving it
I thought I would be having a panic attack knowing that I was turning 25, but after a minor 'Holy Shit' moment, everything was ok.
The office moving day took up the majority of my birthday morning, but it kept me occupied. Our new space looks so nice. I have my own desk up at the front of the office, even if I am basically in the reception area. It is nice and quiet and no one is there to bother me, so I can get my work done in peace. Bubby and Aunt Lisa were down for a few days, so I saw them in the afternoon. We went for a mini tour of Wellington and it was nice to see some family on my birthday.
For my birthday, my mom and dad got me a lamp made out of horseshoes. It is the coolest thing ever. I have seen them before and have been looking for one forever and am so happy to finally have one. It even has a bit on it, which makes it stand out. I love it and miss my family ridiculously.
His parents didn't want me to feel like I didn't have my family with me for my 25th, so they went out and bought me a cake for when we got back from dinner, along with flowers.
It was the sweetest thing and something I was not at all expecting. His mom also bought me a Vera Bradley bag, which was so sweet of her.
The best gift? Joe got me a butt pillow. You know the ones, that are foam and old people sit on? Yeah one of those. He got it since I fell off last week and am still sore. I am sure my face was priceless but it was by far the best gag gift. He really got me a key necklace from Tiffany's. Good taste right? I was ecstatic. I had casually mentioned wanting one, but didn't know if it would actually happen. He is by far the best boyfriend in the world and I am never letting him go.
