Think I can get used to this
So it is almost the end of November and while everyone up north is starting to freeze and complain about the cold, I am very happy here in sunny Florida. The temperature is starting to drop at night, but only to about 75 degrees. Cold, I know. As family and friends were bundling up this past weekend, I was laying on the beach, soaking up the sun. (Not to rub it in or anything,) but I could definitely get used to being at the beach in November.
And while not laying in the sunshine or working in the office, I am still riding once a week at Palms Stables. The past two weeks I have been able to ride Hampton, who I rode all winter. I love that horse. He is Charlie's twin, so if I can't still have 'my horse' then I can ride his double. We have been jumping and he is perfect over the fences. He just goes and we get all the distances (so far) and are working great together. So we shall see how the next few weeks go.
Joe and I had a date night on Friday. We had dinner at this cute french restaurant at this outdoor mall where the movie theatre was. Then we saw Catching Fire and it was amazing. We had the best night and I can't say enough how happy he makes me. This next week will be tough, as I won't see him, but I know I'm coming back.
I am headed home to the freezing cold for Turkey Day. Family, friends my monsters and my pony!!
