Drag Queens and Impending Blizzards

Once again, it's been awhile. but this time I have good news. First off I can officially say that I have a full-time position with Chukker.TV as their social/digital manager.  They are a live stream polo company based on the Grand Champions Polo Club and I am very excited. I have been working with them part-time for the last few weeks, but once I get back from visiting PA next week, I will be starting full time. It has been a long few months of looking and waiting for the next thing to come along, but this was worth it.

And as mentioned, I am heading up to the snowy tundra of PA next week to see the grandparents, Dad, Benjamin, (Mom & Bubby will be down here in Ocala) the monsters and most importantly Pudge. Few days in the cold, I think I can handle it.

Mynt
At least there won't be as much snow as there is in Boston. Sarah, her Maid of Honor Laura, and Bridesmaid Christine were able to escape the snow for a bit last weekend. They came down for a girls weekend/bachelorette party and we went to Miami for a few days. We had so much fun. Let me start by saying Penthouse Suite with a hot tub on the roof :) Just let that sink in. Friday night Matt hooked us up with a promoter and got us into Mynt. I don't do the club scene much anymore so wasn't sure what to expect, but we had a blast dancing the night away, plus we had our own table, drinks and Matt's friend stayed with us the whole time so no creepy dudes bothered us.

Always a plus. Saturday was a beach day and a relaxing night. Sunday morning we had brunch at The Palace. It is a drag bar, so we had unlimited mimosas, literally as soon as you took a sip, it was refilled. Then halfway through brunch there was a drag show. These 'women' were more gorgeous than any of us. You would never know they were guys. No clue how they do it, but it was amazing. The show was so much fun and I don't think I have laughed that much in a long time.

Once brunch was done, it was time to catch a few more hours of sunshine before heading back to Delray. It was a much-needed girls weekend and I am so excited that I got to hang out with all of them more before the wedding.

I know I have said it before, but I have the best boyfriend in the world. Valentine's Day is this weekend.  Even though I am working the majority of the weekend, we are still going to do something. But as an early V-Day, I got beautiful pink roses. He knows exactly how to make me smile.
