Where Has the Year Gone?

How is it already December? Yet again I have been very absent, but the weeks have gotten by me as life has gotten in the way of my blog posting. The past few weeks have been super busy and now I finally have a little bit of a reprieve as the year begins to wind down.

The fall polo season just ended this past weekend with the USPA International Cup, Carlos Gracida Legends of Polo and Kidz Polo. It was a super crazy weekend but so much fun. The International match was weeks of planning and went really well. South Africa came with great players, but lost to USA, who won for the fourth time in a row. The Legends game was cool with all the Gracidas on the field at once. Sunday ended the weekend with an adorable round of kids games. Check out all of the matches at chukkertv.com and see some of the photos from the weekend on our Facebook page (courtesy of yours truly).

Now that the season is over, we have two weeks until the crew leaves for Aspen, Co for snow polo. And I get to go this time! I am super excited and can't wait to see the game that everyone talks about.

However, until then, I still have final projects and two more weeks of classes. Two more projects and then I only have two more semesters to go. Slowly but surely, I will have my masters soon. :)

Everyone is good at home and here. I'm excited to go home after Aspen and see everyone and my four-legged monsters. Joe is good, even though we haven't been able to see each other as much lately due to my crazy schedule. That should get better though too now that season has calmed down. Triton is getting huge, jumping up and down off the bed. I won't recognize him when I get back from being away for two weeks.

Lorenzo is amazing. We're not showing, but having fun jumping at home and he's teaching me so much. Plus, I think I have spoiled him a bit too much. He knows that I come to visit at the end of the day with treats and knows that I keep them in my pockets. Too smart for his own good.

I'll have another update after Aspen. Until then, wish me luck with finals!
