Getting Launched Into Summer

I thought that since season ended, life would be a little less crazy, but that is definitely not the case. I haven't stopped running around even thought my schedule has slowed down a little bit. My days are still jam packed and busy as ever, and I don't know when I will ever catch up.

Work has slowed down but we are gearing up for the summer season in Aspen, Co.  Ally and I head out for the Rocky Mountains at the end of the month, where we're spending the summer in Glenwood Springs. It's going to be a very long summer, but thankfully I'll only be gone a month till I'm back in Wellington for graduation/moving, then its back to Colorado for the remainder of season. So at least I get to split it up and not be away from Joe and home too long.

I'm finally in my LAST SEMESTER of grad school. It feels as if I've been taking classes forever, but realistically, it's only been about 2 and half years. I am so ready to graduate, just need to get through these last two classes and make it until Aug. 6.

Joe and I went up to PA over Memorial Day weekend, since polo was over and it was Julie's wedding. It was just what I needed, as I was starting to burn out and needed the getaway. We had a bit of a delay with plane trouble, but finally made it to Allentown. We had a fun weekend hanging out with family and I was so happy that Joe came home with me and had some time to hang out more with my family. Julie's wedding was so nice. It was crazy to see my childhood best friend get married and walk down the aisle. She looked gorgeous and so happy. On Monday, there was a "family" ceremony at their house, aka across the street, aka my second house, which was very nice, since her dad couldn't attend the actual ceremony.

Joe headed back to FL on Monday afternoon, but I stayed in PA for the week with my monsters. I was able to see Pudge a bunch of times and he looks so good. He isn't creaking anymore and is acting like a 13-year-old not the 27-year-old he is, which makes me very happy. I also was able to see Bethany, Amanda, Kelsey and Holly, and then spent a day in NYC with Katie and Joy :) In between some work, there was lots of family time, so it was a week well-spent.

Soon after getting back to FL, Joe headed off to Chicago for a running conference, so Triton has been spending the last few days with me. He is proving to be the perfect cuddle buddy and is getting very spoiled.
It's going to be another busy weekend, with mom coming to visit and Lorenzo and my last show together. Wish us luck!

Can't wait to help Kelsey George celebrate her wedding!
