Birthday Festivities

Another year in the books. I am officially getting old, or at least I say I am. I mean 28 isn't that old, but still.

I ended up working the majority of the day on my birthday, but then was able to celebrate after. Joe, Emily, Kendall, Chris and Ann went out with me to celebrate:) We went out to dinner at Kubuki and had such a fun time. We haven't all been out for a while, so catching up and just having a good time, plus celebrating was good. Emily tried to be sneaky and tell the waiter it was my birthday, but she wasn't very sneaky. It was nice anyway. We had a good time and I was very happy to be able to celebrate with everyone.
Joe's parents surprised me with a pre-birthday dinner

Joe surprised me with a gift certificate to get a massage and facial. Never had a facial before, so I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I'm very excited. I got a month of pilates from mom- my new obsession since I'm not riding as much, and of course Oreos from Emily.

This week has been crazy busy and is just getting worse with the amount of games we have. Work is ridiculously busy but so goes season. It is just going to get more hectic too with more tournaments starting up and more teams coming to play.

I am super excited though, as Katie and Joy are coming to visit this weekend! They are coming to visit for a belated birthday weekend and even though I have to work all weekend, we are going to have fun. Joy said she wants to get on a horse, so we shall see how that goes.

As far as ponies go, I haven't been riding much since it's been hard withe 1.work and 2. finding something to ride. Castlewood doesn't have much to just hop on these days, so finding a catch ride id hard to come by. Pudge is doing fantastic, but Gio has been in and out of the clinic following his colic surgery. Since he's out of commission for a few months, mom is leasing another horse, that hopefully will be something we can keep for me :)

Not much else for now-it's just work, work, work for me these days.
