Busy Bee
So it's been a busy month. Started my new job at Strategic Marketing and so far so good. I'm learning a ton and working with some great people. It's busy, but busy is good. And weekends off are now a thing. :)
On that note, I have been able to do some things with my life. Bubby stayed down for a few more weeks after season, so that was nice to be able to spend some more time with her. I'll see her now when I go home in a few weeks.
I went up to NYC a few weeks ago for Joy's bachelorette party. Can't believe it was that long ago now. We just had a low-key weekend- spa day followed by a drag show. It was so much fun and the perfect weekend for us. Now, the wedding is only a few weeks away and I can't wait to stand by my best friend as she marries her best friend.
WEF 12 I was able to horseshow :) Mom had gone home so I was able to ride and show Caden. He was so much fun and if I could I would have kept him down here. I wasn't nervous at all, just went in and did my thing. We had a few hiccups, but ended up third in one class. THIRD! at WEF!!!! I was ecstatic!
Continuing my trend of weekends off, I've been spending my weekends at the barn since I don't get there during the week anymore. The goal is to horseshow again with Castlewood in the next few weeks. So keep an eye out.
Today, I did a color run. I know, a what? After the last one I never thought I would do another one, but Kendall convinced me and it wasn't bad. We ran and walked and ran some more and finished in 25 min. Record time for me and it felt great.
On another note.... I'm getting a puppy. In June, I will be getting a golden retriever pup from the same breeder we got Bruno and Bailey from, so any name choices will be helpful. Keep an eye out for photos.
