Welcome to the newest addition

I know, I know. It's been a while, longer than usual. I've been meaning to get back to writing, I just haven't had a chance to sit down.

Work has been super busy. I am learning a ton and have started to get more responsibility in the office. In addition to work for EmbroidMe, I have started working with some of the other clients, either on their social media or for upcoming press releases. Another addition is the social media for the company itself. I'm excited and every day is something different.

Outside of work, life has also been a bit hectic. June 1 I went home for a week for a mini vacation and to see some family. Well, the main reason I went home was cuz JOY GOT MARRIED!!! Crazy to think that my best friend is married. I flew in Friday night and Katie picked me up at the airport. Then Saturday morning, we got our nails done, picked up Rob and made our way upstate. Once we got to the hotel, there was a welcome dinner at the cutest little outdoor saloon. There was a fire pit and picnic tables and had twinkle lights. It was totally up their alley and let everyone just hang out, catch up and a perfect start to the weekend.

The fairy princess in action
Sunday morning, all of us girls started getting ready with hair and make-up. Joy's makeup and hair artists were fantastic and we all looked beautiful. Joy looked like an absolute fairy princess, especially once we got to the venue. It was tucked into the woods and overlooked the mountains. I could not have hand-picked a better venue for the two of them to tie the knot. The ceremony was beautiful, the reception was simple, but everything was completely Joy.

I think I took a million photos, but I think one of the best parts was when Joy and Ilya signed their Ketuba. This private ceremony was something only their parents, one of Ilya's friends and myself were part of. I am so happy that I could be a part of her big day and watch her say I Do.

After the wedding, I spent the week in Allentown, just relaxing with the monsters and family. Then, I finally got my puppy! Her name is Kaluah "Kali" and she is absolutely adorable. She slept the entire drive home and then the entire flight. Bruno loved her, Bailey tolerated her. Now that we are home, she and Sadie are getting along and she loves the cats. So, expect lots of photos, as the little girl has not so much taken the place of my Pudge, but she's become my new love.

Also, a huge Happy Birthday to the person I apparently can't function without, Kendall Bierer. We had a great birthday celebration weekend when I got home last week, with dinner and a day at the Rapids. I had never been to the waterpark and we had a blast. Here's to many more!
