Early Mornings and Puppy Breath

There are no excuses for not writing, since all it takes is an hour, if that a week. But my little monster has been taking all of my attention.

The past few months have been, busy and tiring but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Kahlua or Kali as she more commonly goes by, is my little angel. She has her gremlin moments when she tears through the house or doesn't want to listen, but she is turning into a perfect puppy. My life is literally consumed by work and then I get to come to the best thing I ever decided to do - get a little terrorist puppy. Kali is my everything and I love her to death. I'd say sorry for the photo overload, but it's not going to stop anytime soon.

She did have to spend a few days apart from me though, as I went back to PA for Turkey Day. I know its November already. Kendall, Chris and Jason watched her for me so I didn't have much to worry about. It was so nice to go home for a bit -  even thought I was sick the whole weekend. I was able to see everyone though since was had the whole family over for Thanksgiving at out house and did our family Hanukkah thing at the same time. I also got to spend some time with Katie and Joy, short but sweet. And either way, I'll be back north in about a month. Perks of saving up vacation days till the end of the year.

I guess I haven't been writing since nothing overly exciting has been happening. But the more I think about it, that is no excuse. I need to make the time to do what I like, no matter what is or isn't going on in life. Even if it's about the mundane things that is going on at work, or that happens with the dog, writing is my passion and why I got into my career in the first place. If I don'd do it for myself, then what is the point? So early New Year's Resolution- try to write at least once a month. Even if nothing particularly exciting has happened. Just write to write.

So, till next time.
