Time flies when you're having fun

Can't believe that it's already week 12. Everyone told me that time would fly down here since I would be so busy but I never thought it would go by this fast.

In a nut shell:
Last week I covered the George Morris Excellence in Equitation Class. Those juniors amaze me. If I had a horse like that, and rode six days a week, I still don't think I could find every perfect distance and be completely consistent. Maybe I could, granted I need to start riding more than once a week. The kicker for the class, was that riders could have no interaction with their trainers, from the schooling area till the time the class ended. They walked the course, tacked up, schooled and rode all on their own. It was a true test of the rider's abilities which I thought was a great way to see who the real riders in the group were. Lillie won the class, making this her second big equitation win for the season.

The Ridge Finale was last weekend at Deeridge. The farm, owned by the Jacobs family, is gorgeous, as it should be for 250 acres. There are trees lining the property and lakes and green grass as far as the eye can see. I walked out of my car and turned to Kendall and was like 'Can they adopt me?'

Aunt Lisa and Zak also came down to vsit for a few days which was nice. I didn't see them too much since I was working, but it was nice to have some company.

Now that its the last week of the show, things are in high gear. I am at the show every day and working to bring in clients. My parents also just flew in, but they are on their own. I don't want the show to end, since that means that this dream is almost over and I don't want to wake up.
