Back in the saddle, or show ring

So after a few months, it was time to get back into the show ring. This time with a new mount.

Let it ride, or Charlie, or Charlie horse, as I like to call him,  was making his show debut with myself as well as Millstone Farm. And he was the perfect gentleman. After a few nervous huffs before getting on the trailer, he acted as if he was made to be at a horseshow.

There was a fair going on in the background, horses and trailers everywhere, and Charlie went right in the ring and jumped his heart out.

Besides a few lead changes, and working on getting him back together, we had great rounds. Charlie and I placed fourth and sixth over fences, and had a perfct third round, but knocked a rail. We also placed third in the under saddle class, where he pointed his toes like a pro.

Now, we are on the right track and back in the groove. Next stop, bringing home some blues!
