Another Year in The Life of Arianna Rachel Delin

Well, another year has gone by and I have to admit that I am getting old. haha. Turning 26 is not all it's cracked up to be, but then again, I didn't have a panic attack like I did last year. This time, I woke up and went right to the barn and spent my birthday morning on the back of a horse, as no one would expect anything less.

Back in college, when I thought about turning 26, I always thought I would have my life together by now. I thought I would have the dream job, be traveling the world, have the horse of my dreams and be possibly planning a wedding. In fact, none of that is happening. I am still searching for that dream job and only traveling the world when my budget allows. I do have the horse of my dreams, but he is retired in Pennsylvania, so I am still looking for the one who can fill his horseshoes. And the only weddings I am planning are Sarah's and some friends. And I'm ok with all of it. Yes, I am in a rush to find the perfect job, or any job, haha. But I still have time to see the world and I have the most amazing boyfriend who I know will be there and I am not in a rush to plan my own wedding. 26 feels like I am getting older and older, but that doesn't mean I need to rush my life.

Flowers from Joe
Joe got me the most beautiful flowers as a surprise birthday gift. I know I have said it before, but he is the best. I also got flowers from mom and dad, and am told that gifts are on the way. Joe's grandma and mom made dinner while I had class, and Joe brought me room service and then ice cream cake. :) Not the ideal, let's spend five hours in class for my birthday, but it was pretty good.

More flowers from Mom and Dad :)
Besides my birthday, a lot has been going on which is why I am very behind in my posts. I have been crazy busy with classes, as I am getting into projects and my web design class is taking a lot more time that I thought it would. I have also become a professional freelancer.

Since the start of WEF, I have been working part-time for Anne Gittens and I recently started two other positions. I just began freelancing for Heels Down Magazine, part of Horsejunkiesunited.com. Hopefully, the position will turn into an Assistant Editor position. I am also working part-time for Chukker.TV as their social media manager. So needless to say, I have been a little busy.

On the pony front, Dixie went home last week and I hear she is very happy. As much as I miss her, I am glad she is enjoying retirement and getting better. George is also still enjoying his retirement and as far as I hear, healthy as can be.

Besides all that, nothing else is going on, but I think that is enough for now.
