Happy 2016! Here is to a New Year, New Season and New Semester

So now that I have some time, here is another post to start off the new year. And one of my New Year's Resolutions is to be more consistent with writing and aim for every other week and not once a month haha.

The New Year came and went without too much of a fuss. I made dinner for Joe and I, and then we took Triton to Mike's house for a New Year's party. Triton was very happy for the attention and got tired out by the end of the night. Although we didn't stay until midnight, it was nice to celebrate the holiday with friends. We ended up ringing in the New Year by watching the ball drop, with Triton curled up on the bottom of my bed. The perfect was to end 2015 and start 2016. Last year didn't start out perfectly, but it ended up being a pretty good year. Some things fall into your lap and others take some work but in the end it all works out for the best. I found an amazing job, some great friends and the most wonderful horse in the world. I also continue to have a great family, friends, and a boyfriend that I love. Here's to an amazing 2016.

Speaking of 2016, the year is starting off with a bang. Polo season is in full swing with games at both IPC and GCPC this season. Looking at our schedule, we have on average, four games a day, totaling about 65 games for the month of January. Like I said, it is going to be busy, but busy might be an understatement.

Classes have also started, but those won't be as crazy. I only have set classes once a week, with my other class any time I do the work. However, both classes will require a lot of work, with one requiring research papers. I haven't done a research paper since college, so this will be interesting. But, once these classes are done I only have two more before graduation!

On a very happy note, congrats to my 'sister' Kelsey George on her engagement announcement to Tom Hagan. I wish you the best and I couldn't be happier for you.
