Here's to nothing!

I have officially been in Florida for a week and am all moved in and settled. After much persistence,  I finally have the job I wanted and am loving it so far. For anyone that doesn't know, I am now working for Phelps Media Group, the company that I was interning for over the winter in Wellington. I am doing a bit of everything, but mostly keeping track of the company's social media. I am responsible for sending out press releases; posting articles to facebook, twitter, pinterest; sending out emails; writing some releases; and help managing the office.

I am learning that my biggest job however, is going to be organiznig  PMG's two big events, the National Horse Show and the Gay Polo Tournament. Thankfully, NHS is this week, so most of that was taken care of before I started. There is so much to organize and keep track of for these events, but I am up for the challenge and cannot wait.

As far as living situations go, I am living five minutes from the office, ten from the barn (perfect!), and live with Emily and Kendall. For the last few days, I've been in Emily's room as she was at a horseshow and I had no furniture. Luckily, I now have furniture, thanks to Joe and Kendall :)  Kendall and I also acquired a media center and coffee table, which makes the house look much more complete.

Best perk about having moved to Florida, besides the job and the sunshine, is that I am not only 15 minutes away from Joe, not 1500 miles. This means that I get to see him on a regular basis, which I am very happy about.

I already miss my pony, my monsters and home, but I am recieving daily reports on how they are doing, as well as photos and facetimes with the puppies. It still hasnt hit me that I am actually giont to live here and not go back home in a few weeks. I guess I'll have to get used to the heat, thunderstorms and lizards.

Keep an eye out for more, as I'll keep everyone at home updated on what I'm doing. Sending sunshine from Florida!!!!!
