From Hunters to Polo Ponies

I have been riding horses my entire life. From the time I could walk I was at the barn on the back of a pony. It all started with lead line at Devon, slowly working my way up the ranks of the hunter division. Who would have ever thought that I would be living in Wellington with a horse in the heart of the equine world.

That may not seem so far fetched, but the fact that I took a polo lesson... and loved it, that is. I have always wanted to try polo but have never had the chance, or the money, to be able to so. Until now. As most of you know, I have been managing Phelps' PSpolo.com site for the past few months and working with their polo clients since I started in October. That being said, it was way over due that I had my turn on the polo field to see what it was all about.

Two of PMG's interns, Alex and Amanda, Chip (our CEO) and myself went out this past weekend for a lesson at Palm City Polo in Boynton Beach. Emily came out to take photos and we had a blast. I posted a photo gallery and a column about the event at PSpolo.com, so you should all check it out :) And I highly recommend trying polo at least once. It may not be for the uncoordinated, but it sure is a rush.
