Mini Getaways and Family Reunions

It has been a whirlwind of activity the past few days. Over the weekend, I made the very quick trip back and forth to Boston for Sarah's engagement party. I flew into Logan around midnight Friday night, where my parents and Benjamin picked me up. Then after arriving at the hotel, fell into bed where I was sharing a room with Bubby :) The whole family came up for the weekend, well most of the family. My parents, Ben, Noah and Bubby were there, and that's is who I really wanted to see, besides the bride-to-be.

The party was very nice, at Chris's parents house. They had a few tents in the backyard, and his sister Caroline, another bridesmaid, made all the food. The party was small, just family and the bridal party, so I had the chance to meet everyone since I hadn't been dress shopping or in Boston at all to meet anyone.

Saturday night and Sunday morning, was just relaxing and hanging with my parents, brothers and Bubby. Much-needed family time. I flew home to Florida Sunday afternoon:) Said, it was a quick trip.

I actually sat in the window seat and looked out the window (its a big deal)

Now, it's back to work and trying not to burn out before season even starts. I do have a weekend at home planned though, so that will help be a break. Also, I have Joe who keeps me sane <3
