This weekend was a whirlwind.
Friday night Emily and I went out to dinner in downtown Delray. Finally, we had a night out, even if it was just a short night out for dinner. It was such a nice night out so we walked around for a bit until we found somewhere to eat. We ended up eating at Tryst, a small Irish pub-type place. It was really good. Something different. Then we walked around for a bit more, just a fun, easy night away from the show.

| Auctioning off the Leonardo DiCaprio prize pack |
Saturday night was the Shady Ladies dinner and Celebrity Sunglass auction. It was the smallest event that I have helped out with at Phelps but it was still so much fun. The Shady Ladies is an organization that helps to raise money for the Lupus Research Institution. All of the profits from the night's event went to the Institution. The Eyes of Wellington were also at the event and 100% of their profits from the night went to the Institute. In addition, Alex Sepkus jewelry had a booth at the event and 30% from each of their sales went to the Institution. The whole night revolved around a couple who started the event to raise money for their daughter.
The highlight of the night was the sunglass auction. Autographed sunglasses from celebrities such as Bruce Springsteen, Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorcese were aucitoned off to benefit the Research Instution. Plus, every guest was given an Essex shirt on their way out the door.

| I wamt this horse |
Sunday was spent at the horse show covering the Amateur Owners, which is always fun to watch. Then I came home and slept, since my computer decided not to work. But all is well now, after a long trip to the Apple Store.
I have been debating on whether or not to buy a corgi puppy. I found a few that I like, but don't know if now is the right time or nor. I want a dog, because I want the company, but I do not know where I will be living in two/three months and as my dad said, 'do I really want the responsibility, when I don't event take care of my dogs at home?' haha So I think I might be waiting a bit and just stealing Bonnie here and there.
