Words to the Wise
Please be careful and take care of your horses. The past 24 hours has been filled with worry over the EHV virus that has been taking over Florida. EHV, Equine Herpes Virus, is like the flu for horse, but much worse. Yesterday we got word that there were some horses in Ocala that had been sick and had made their way to WEF. Well, Ocala has been shut down due to the outbreak, so there were concerns that the horses in the FEI barns in Wellington were going to get sick as well. After some testing, and a lot of worried people, the tests cam back negative and the show will go on. But please, be careful. Take precautions, be aware of the bio-hazard measures and mainly just aware of what is going on.

Earlier in the week, I had the chance to go out to Artisan Farms and watch a lesson with Eric Lamaze. That farm is the most beautiful barn I have ever seen and I want one just like it. That is my goal in life. Well, an unattainable goal.
That's it for now. Short and sweet, but check back soon for updates from this week at the show and my life in Horse Heaven.
